Does Testosterone K.O. the Flu Shot?

By markhongmd on January 15, 2014

High testosterone levels and flu vaccine

Interesting new study shows that men with high levels of testosterone were less likely to be protected by the flu vaccine.  This doesn't mean that all men with high testosterone will be at risk.  But if you have a certain genetic makeup, you would be less likely to respond well to the flu vaccine, leaving you at risk during this intense flu season.  Another thing to consider as we get bombarded with ever more ads for testosterone replacement and treatment.
